Your Past Calls Are a Content Library. AI Is the Librarian.

Since January, every coaching call I run has gone through an AI extraction pipeline. The output from the first several months alone: daily social posts across three platforms, a weekly email series, a Substack publication, and a fifteen-chapter book that's almost ready to publish.

That book didn't start with a blank document and an outline. It started in the transcripts of real calls with real solopreneurs working through real problems. AI found the patterns across those 400 sessions that I never would have spotted on my own.

If you've been coaching, consulting, or training for any length of time, you're probably sitting on more content than you realize. The teaching moment from a call three months ago. The question that came up six times in a row from different people. The framework you explained off the cuff because someone was stuck. All of that is sitting in your recordings. AI can go get it.

    What the process looks like

After every call, the recording goes through transcription. I use OpenAI Whisper for that step. From there, an AI agent reads the transcript and extracts the key teaching moments, practical tips, and recurring patterns it finds. Those get sorted by category: business strategy, mindset, tech and tools, marketing. From that organized output, they become social posts, email content, or longer-form pieces.

The book emerged from noticing what kept surfacing across calls. When you run 400 conversations through an extraction process, you stop guessing what your audience needs. You know, because they told you directly, in their own words, call after call.

    What surprised me

It wasn't the volume of content that came out of the process. I figured there was a lot of usable material in those sessions. What surprised me was the accuracy.

AI doesn't get attached to the examples you like best. It finds what keeps showing up. It surfaces patterns because the data points to them, not because someone decided they were important. That turned out to be sharper than what I would have selected by hand.

The book's structure isn't built around my favorite coaching moments or the stories I've told the most often. It's built around the questions my clients genuinely couldn't answer without help, and the conversations where something clicked and the whole direction changed. That's a different foundation than most business books get built on.

How to start without 400 calls

You don't need a large archive to make this worth doing. Start with ten calls. Run them through a transcription tool, then ask an AI to pull the three most practical takeaways from each one. That's thirty pieces of content you didn't have to create from scratch. A month of social posts. The outline for your next email sequence. The skeleton of a lead magnet.

The work was already done on those calls. You showed up, asked real questions, and helped people through real problems. The content existed the moment it was said. AI just retrieves it and makes it portable.

This process isn't about finding shortcuts. It's about honoring the work you've already put in. You spent those hours on calls. Getting the content out of them is just finishing what you started.

What would your content pipeline look like over the next 90 days if you treated every past call you've recorded as a resource?
